The game
What is Blood on the Clocktower?
BotC is a social deduction game for 5–15 players. One player is secretly the Demon — working with hidden Minions to eliminate the Town. Everyone else is trying to figure out who's lying.
Dead players Talk
Unlike Werewolf or Mafia, dying isn't the end. Dead players keep their voice and often decide the game.
The Storyteller
Ipshita runs the Grimoire — giving players custom information, making judgment calls, and keeping the drama alive.
Every role is unique
From the Washerwoman to the Imp, every character has a different ability. No two games feel the same.
Bluff your way out!
Evil players know who each other are from the start. Lie convincingly - and catch the liars - is the whole game.
A session in four phases
How a night unfolds
Phase 01
Character Assignment
The Storyteller hands each player a character token face-down. You learn your role in secret.
Phase 02
Night Phase
Eyes close. The Demon and Minions wake, meet, and scheme. Information roles receive their first clue.
Phase 03
Day Phase
Everyone wakes. Someone was killed overnight. The Town debates, accuses, and votes to execute a suspect.
Phase 04
Final Showdown
Three players remain. The Town makes one final execution attempt. If they get the Demon — Town wins. If not, evil prevails.

Your questions
Before your first session
I've never played. Can I still come?
Absolutely. We run Trouble Brewing for all new players and the Storyteller guides everyone through their first night.
Is this like Werewolf / Mafia?
Conceptually similar — Social Deduction — but BotC is far richer. Dead players stay active, the Storyteller adjusts the game live, and every role has a unique ability.
How many people do you need?
Minimum 5, ideal is 8–12, maximum around 15. We cap sessions to keep the game tight.
What if I'm bad at lying?
Thats a great bluff, haha! Mention this at the start and see the horrified look on your peers when you win!
Can I request a private BotC session?
Yes — for groups of 7+. Contact us and we'll arrange a dedicated session.
Next Session's Filling Up!
The town needs you!
Seats are limited so the game stays tight — 8 to 12 is the sweet spot. Beginners welcome, the Storyteller's got you.
